Art’s process-based installation “blue/lives” contextualizes police killings of unarmed civilians through topographical maps of the precise location of the incident. Here, we talk about artist as memory-keeper and transmuter of collective trauma. I see Art’s most recent work as part memorial, part resurrection, part uprising.
